The Farm Credit Associations of North Carolina Support Local Youth in Agriculture
STATESVILLE, NC (February 11, 2026) – AgSouth Farm Credit and AgCarolina Farm Credit are pleased to announce that the 2025 Pull for Youth sporting clays events generated $90,000 to benefit North Carolina 4H and FFA chapters. Now in its ninth year, the Pull for Youth events continue to strengthen agricultural education and leadership development across the state.
Since the program began, the Farm Credit Associations of North Carolina, alongside generous support from CoBank, have contributed over $890,000 to NC 4H and NC FFA. Funds raised from the 2025 events were awarded directly to local chapters through the Pull for Youth grant program, ensuring these organizations have the resources needed to support meaningful projects, activities, and educational opportunities.
Evan Kleinhans, CEO of AgCarolina Farm Credit, and Chad Puryear, CEO of AgSouth Farm Credit, shared their appreciation:
“Farm Credit remains committed to investing in the next generation of agricultural leaders. Through the Pull for Youth events, we are proud to partner with CoBank and local sponsors to provide meaningful support to North Carolina 4‑H and FFA chapters. These funds help provide our youth with the skills, experiences, and opportunities they need to succeed in agriculture and beyond.”
