AGCAROLINA FARM CREDIT WELCOMES AMY BAKER TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Greenville, NC AgCarolina Farm Credit is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Baker as an outside director to its Board of Directors. Baker brings more than 30 years of experience in professional services and financial oversight, strengthening the Association’s commitment to strong governance and strategic leadership.

Baker is currently employed with EY, a global professional services firm, where she has served as both an audit partner and coordinating partner. A licensed Certified Public Accountant, Baker leads complex audit engagements and advised organizations across a variety of industries, bringing deep expertise in financial reporting, risk management, and governance.

In addition to her professional career, Baker is deeply engaged in community and industry leadership. She is the immediate past chair of the YMCA of the Triangle and currently serves on the executive committee and finance committee. She is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA). She also serves as the EY Governance Leader for the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), Raleigh Chapter.

Baker grew up in Johnston County and now resides in Cary, North Carolina, with her spouse and two high school/college-aged children. She will serve on AgCarolina Farm Credit’s Audit Committee.

The expertise of AgCarolina Farm Credit’s leadership team, combined with the direction of its Board of Directors, helps guide the Association’s goals, strategies, and commitment to its members. The AgCarolina Board consists of local farmers, rural community residents, and individuals who understand agriculture, elected by the Association’s membership. As an outside director, Baker provides an independent perspective that enhances the Board’s overall governance and decision-making.
